This is a plastic model assembly kit of a high-performance racer that uses a shaft drive four-wheel drive. The Cosmo Sonic is a machine characterized by its curved form that is conscious of the air flow and the straightening fins on the body. The wide front and rear cowls, the sharp contrast in the center of the body, and the large rear wing add a dynamic image. The chassis uses the FM-A with a front motor layout, and the yellow A-spoke wheels are equipped with small diameter low-height tires. Metallic stickers that express red and green graphics are also included. The Cosmo Sonic is driven by "Retsu Seiba", one of the main characters in the mini 4WD manga "Let's & Go!! Return Racers!!". As the name "Cosmo" suggests, the machine developed by Retsu, who received training aimed at space, using his knowledge and experience, has a style that is different from previous Sonic models.

[Uses FM-A chassis with front motor layout]
The chassis uses the FM-A with a front motor layout that incorporates an aerodynamic design. The center of gravity is closer to the front of the car, so it can run stably even on courses with many ups and downs. A skid bar made of low-friction resin is standard equipment on the lower front part, and the four rollers are also made of low-friction resin. The rear rollers are 8mm thick, which increases stability. In addition, the motor can be easily replaced from the bottom of the chassis, and settings can be changed quickly. Various parts can be attached to the aero side stays, which were inspired by the cross-sectional shape of an airplane wing. The chassis body made of ABS resin and the A parts made of low-friction resin are unified in black. The gear ratio is set to 3.5:1.
